North Highlands, CA is an unincorporated community in Sacramento County, California. Located just northeast of Sacramento city limits with a population of around 53,000 it offers plenty of amenities while still maintaining its small-town charm. There are four public schools in the area with nearby parks offering recreational activities such as fishing and boating. Capital city / suburban complex - Northern California, northern Central Valley at the base of the Sierra Nevada.
