THE HOT TOPIC OF THE SUMMER-FIRE INSURANCE-HUGE NEWS! Fire Insurance and possible discounts!!

At the end of July, I was in a humongus meeting with the California Insurance Commissioner, Ricardo Lara. There is a huge effort to try to educate residents on fire-hardening their homes in order to possibly NOT be non-renewed by insuance companies. Further, he shed light on the department's efforts to keep insurance companies covering Californians AND what they are doing to push the California Fair Plan to be MORE FAIR.

As a result of this meeting, I will now be hosting a huge Informational event on August 24th fro 5:30pm-6:30pm with guest speakers from the Dept of Insurance who will be providing clairty and answering questions that we have about our insurance retention and coverage in California. Because many others in the USA, and other countries, deal with living in a fire prone region, you are welcome to attend, but there are limited links.
